Preventing the bridging phenomenon in the upper hopper of the screw conveyor for lead powder extraction!
We would like to introduce a case where our "Brodisk" has provided a solution. It prevented the bridging phenomenon in the upper hopper of a screw conveyor used for cutting lead powder. In this customer's case, blowing air was not allowed, so nitrogen gas is being used. Brodisk is often used in cases where inert gases are employed. In this instance, four Brodisk units (standard type: BD-15) were installed, and they are turned on one by one by a controller that incorporates four solenoid valves. Therefore, the gas consumption is also limited. [Overview] ■ Hopper dimensions: approximately 1000×1000 (Discharge section is approximately 200×1000) ■ Powder overview: Lead oxide for batteries (bulk density is approximately 1.3) * For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. * Our website features numerous examples of implementations, which can be checked via the link below.
